We are opening the day before Turkey Day in case you forgot to grab your cider for your Thanksgiving table. And while you're at it, why don't you just relax and stay a bit?
For those of you who Cider Noir aficionados, I believe this year's will delight. It is our first Cider Noir to be 100% aged in oak and barrel, a blend of ciders aged for multiple years in Chardonnay, ex-Moonlight, Bourbon, and Rye barrels, plus six months on new French oak. It's also a true non-vintage cider, with apples coming from across the 2018, 2019, 2020 growing season. The dark caramel color comes from a double fermentation with extra dark Belgian Candii made from beet and date sugars. We steeped the final cider with Texas pecans for a week before bottling. At 11.1%, it's rich, creamy, and will warm your soul through those long, hard, Texas winters (I kid, I kid). We're on the ball this year and releasing this year's Cider Noir on the day after Thanksgiving, Friday, November 26th! Get out of the house for a bit and join us for your first taste, plus live music from Djamberry Caravan and our Shop-Small Art Market 2-6pm!
