Born and raised in Barcelona, David P. Goode moved to Austin in 2019. He spent more than twenty years gigging in local bars and honky tonks, searching for fame and fortune to becamo the 6th Certified Guitar Player by Chet Atkins. While none of this has happened yet (and probably never will) he keeps trying. In the meantime he enjoys playing country, blues and folk covers but also songs in Catalan and Spanish. He has a wide range of musical influences from Hank Williams, Chuck Berry, Beatles, CCR, Dylan and AC/DC (just to name a few). Requests from the audience is always welcome, and because of this, his setlist usually evolves during his performances. An extra guitar and uke are also always present on stage so that guest performers may jump in. The overall goal of his shows is to have fun, and make sure that the audience is having fun.
